Avv. Luana Simonetti – Avvocato penalista, misure cautelari ed esecuzione
Criminal law, precautionary measures and enforcement

    Avv. Luana Simonetti

Lawyer of the Cassino Bar, admitted to the bar since 2009, with an office in Palestrina (Rome)

    Professional Profile

Luana Simonetti is a lawyer of the Cassino Bar, admitted since 2009, with an office in Palestrina, in the province of Rome, and of counsel at Legal Aid, with which she works on the firm's matters on an ongoing basis while maintaining her own professional practice. A Law graduate of the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2004, she directed her training towards criminal law, attending the course on ethics and technique of the criminal lawyer of the local Criminal Bar Association and obtaining the diploma of the third two-year specialisation course for criminal lawyers of the National School of the Union of Italian Criminal Bar Associations in Rome.

Her practice covers the entire course of criminal proceedings: assistance to suspects and victims during investigations, personal precautionary proceedings and related appeals, trial, appeal and Supreme Court proceedings and the enforcement of sentences, including alternatives to detention and enforcement proceedings. She deals in particular with crimes against the person, drug offences and criminal matters arising in family relationships, alongside assistance in family law.

At Legal Aid this experience is integrated with the firm's economic focus. In proceedings for business crimes, the position of the entrepreneur or director may involve personal precautionary measures, civil party claims and, at the end, the need to manage the enforcement phase: these are the moments when technical defence in ordinary criminal proceedings becomes decisive for the business client too. Avv. Simonetti also contributes to the analysis of case files, the drafting of pleadings and the definition of defence strategies in coordination with the responsible partner.

She is a speaker in the legality education project promoted in schools by the Union of Italian Criminal Bar Associations together with the Ministry of Education.
